What is Tax Credit Housing?

In 1986 the Federal Government implemented the program. In exchange for developing and providing housing choices for low to moderate- income households, the private sector receives tax credits by way of reduction of income taxes. The guidelines for the program are outlined in Section 42 Internal Revenue Code.

Each year the governmental agency sets the rates for the rent amount and also provides the guidelines to follow in the annual income amounts. It varies from state to state and county to county.

If you are interested in the information for one of our rental properties please call the office listed on the website for availability and detailed information concerning what your monthly rent amount would be and what annual income guidelines that apply.
