Mary T. Maryland specializes in neuro-rehabilitation for individuals with brain injuries in the community. Whether the services are provided from your home or one of ours, we offer services to support you with the adjustment to life after a brain injury. Recognizing complex medical and neurological conditions faced by individuals with brain injury, we work closely with you and your support team to identify your goals and build a program tailored to your needs. Substance Abuse Program

Recognizing that substance abuse may be one of the underlying factors for people living with brain injury, Mary T. Maryland offers substance abuse support and counseling. A modified twelve-step meeting for individuals with brain injury is available to anyone interested in substance abuse each Wednesday at the Severna Park location.

Anne Arundel Brain Injury Support Group

The Anne Arundel Brain Injury Support Group is hosted by Mary T. Inc. and functions independently under the direction of Debbie Cottrill.

Coming together with a group of people that have been through similar journeys can help to build strength and remind you that you are not alone. Membership is voluntary, confidential, and free of charge. You may choose to attend the meetings to get support, provide support, share and learn new information.

In your home or one of ours, we offer services to support you with the adjustment to life after a brain injury. Recognizing complex medical and neurological conditions faced by individuals with brain injury, we work closely with you and your support team to identify your goals and build a program tailored to your needs. Mary T. Maryland offers a Twelve Step program within the Lifequest therapeutic day program to address substance abuse issues as one of the underlying factor for people living with brain injury. Our services include:

Supportive Living Services

Located in Maryland’s Anne Arundel County neighborhoods, our Supportive Living Services provide individuals with the opportunity to focus on rehabilitation and greater independence in comfortable and safe environments.

Independent Living Services

We mentor, coach and support you where you are in your recovery from your injury, providing support to you in your home and your community.

Supported Employment

Mary T. Inc. job developers and coaches develop a person-centered vocational plan, pre-vocational training and on-going support to return you to and maintain employment within the community. Mary T. Maryland has developed and offers the only program in the state of Maryland designed specifically for Transition Age Youth (age 18-26) with traumatic brain injury.

Vocational Day Activities

Mary T. Maryland’s Lifequest Program provides a pathway to the recovery of valuable life skills by teaching communication methods, encouraging social activities, and promoting the development of practical vocational techniques and experiences leading to employment.

Neuro-Behavioral Services

Individualized evaluations and treatment plans designed by professionals who specialize in the care of persons living with a brain injury. Professional disciplines include neuropsychiatry, behavioral analysts, recreational therapists, and rehabilitation counselors.

Substance Abuse Program

Recognizing that substance abuse may be one of the underlying factors for people living with brain injury, Mary T. Maryland offers substance abuse support programs. An open, modified twelve-step meeting for individuals with brain injury is available each Wednesday at the Severna Park location.
